OpenStreetsPGH is back on South Side!

  • South Side Chamber of Commerce PO Box 42345 Pittsburgh, PA, 15203-0345 United States (map)

Grab your walking shoes, bikes, roller blades and yoga mats and come play on the car-free streets of Downtown and the South Side on Sunday, May 29. OpenStreetsPGH is a free, all-ages event that’s building healthier, more connected communities.

  • This event series is organized by BikePGH, a registered 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit, who works on behalf of the Pittsburgh community to make the city safe and accessible for everyone to bike and walk.

  • BikePGH will be offering free “Learn to Ride” classes at the BikePGH Kids Hub at 22nd Street and East Carson Street in the South Side, while partners from the Wheel Mill and Thick Bikes provide obstacle courses and unicycle lessons to challenge more experienced riders.

  • BikePGH will also have free educational materials available at event hubs around the route including the Pittsburgh bike map and the Pittsburgh Biking 101 Guide. Look for the green and yellow BikePGH tents around the route to learn more.

  • Join us for free fitness classes, community arts performances, food trucks, activity stations and special promotions presented by over 100 local businesses and organizations.
