Under the leadership of Glenn Connor, president of the memorial committee, Vietnam Veterans will replace the memorial flags, appear in uniform, and present the memorial ceremonies. The South Side Chamber of Commerce and local residents will clean and prepare the memorial site.

We respectfully acknowledge and thank all our U.S. Armed Forces Veterans, especially our South Side Vietnam Veterans on this date, for their service to our country.  We are truly grateful.
