COME ON DOWN to East Carson Street to welcome and cheer the 2018 DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathoners starting at 6:50 a.m. to about noon on Sunday, May 6th!  

LIVE MUSIC AND CHEERS
Enjoy the lively marathon festival at the South Side Welcome Center at the corner of S. 11th and East Carson Streets.  The fabulous music of the "Occasionals" band of Pittsburgh Guitars and DJ Phil Sauter will welcome the marathoners and energize them as they race through the Historic South Side.

FOOD TRUCK TREATS
The awesome CURB APPEAL food truck will serve tasty breakfast sandwiches, pastries and cookies, hot coffee and tea, plus juices for the kids! Vegetarian options will be available. Hours will be 7 to 10 a.m.

MAKE NOISE
Pick up DICK'S marathon bells and clappers and make East Carson Street come alive!

MARATHON SIGNS
Bring your own sign or make one at the festival! We have poster paper and colorful Crayola pens waiting for you at the Welcome Center. 
 
WEAR YOUR BLACK AND GOLD
The theme is again black and gold! So wear your Pittsburgh Pens, Pirates, Steelers, and Riverhounds black and gold gear! Be a part of our magnificent crowd that welcomes the marathoners to the South Side, Pittsburgh's best side!

CUPCAKES
Cupcakes? Yes, we will have cupcakes while they last for the marathoners again this year as they pass the welcome center! Let's cheer them on!
